Cyprus Problem Resolutions, Proposed Solution Plans, Convergences, Constitutions and Court Cases

Set of important texts regarding the Cyprus Problem, including UN resolutions, the full text of the Anan Plan (including the constitutions of the constituent states), the Gali Set of Ideas, the American-British-Canadian plan of 1978, the constitutions of the RoC and the TRNC, the Christofias-Talat Convergences, the UN resolution vetoed by Russia that aimed to satisfy Greek Cypriot concerns over security for the Anan Plan, and the Meleagrou vs. Turkey court case which established financial compensation as an equal form of compensation to the return of property for Greek Cypriot refugees.

Απόφαση Επιτροπής Δημοσιογραφικής Δεοντολογίας για Άρθρο του Εράν Κοέν στον Φιλελεύθερο (17/12/25)

 Η Επιτροπή Δημοσιογραφικής Δεοντολογίας εξέτασε μεγάλο αριθμό παραπόνων (27_12092025) για τη δημοσίευση, στο PhileNews, τη διαδικτυακή έκδοση της εφημερίδας «Ο Φιλελεύθερος» και στη στήλη «Παρεμβάσεις», άρθρου με τίτλο «Κύπρος - Δεν Είναι Πολύ Αργά!», το οποίο υπογράφει ο Εράν Κοέν (ημερομηνία δημοσίευσης 9 Σεπτεμβρίου 2025) και αποφάσισε, με δύο αποχές, ότι το άρθρο παραβιάζει τον Κώδικα Δημοσιογραφικής Δεοντολογίας. Η Επιτροπή εξέτασε όλα τα δεδομένα: το άρθρο, στο οποίο διατυπώνονταν κρίσεις και αναφορές σχετικές με το παλαιστινιακό ζήτημα, τα παράπονα που έκαναν λόγο για ρητορική μίσους και ψευδείς αναφορές, καθώς και την απάντηση του μέσου, η οποία επικεντρώθηκε στο γεγονός ότι η άποψη που εκφράστηκε στο άρθρο ήταν προσωπική, έφερε την υπογραφή ενός δημόσιου προσώπου (ορκωτός λογιστής, Διευθύνων Σύμβουλος του Εμπορικού Επιμελητηρίου Ισραήλ – Κύπρου, όπως αναγραφόταν και στο δημοσίευμα) και σε καμία περίπτωση δεν εξέφραζε τη θέση της εφημερίδας.
