Some Resources for Accessing Information on the Israel-Iran War (2025)

I am here listing some resources for accessing information regarding the ongoing Israel-Iran war. These are meant to be additional resources and should be complemented by information provided by reliable international media, such as Reuters, Associated Press and Al Jazeera.

It should be pointed out that information coming out of Iran is scarce, as internet access has been cut off by the Iranian state, and media censorship in Iran is one of the most extreme in the world. Israel has also implemented military censorship of its media regarding the war.

Institute for the Study of War: U.S. think tank providing reliable day by day military analyses regarding ongoing conflicts. The Institute is currently producing reports on the ongoing war twice each day. It lists its sources thoroughly.

Warfronts: YouTube channel providing summaries of military developments of ongoing conflicts. Has been consistently covering developments on the ongoing war.

TLDR News Global: Independent online media group that makes digital content about global news and current affairs. Provides summary updates of developments regularly.

Times of Israel: Politically centrist Israeli media site which maintains a daily-updated English version.

Iran International: Iran-focused media outlet stationed in London that is politically against the Iranian Islamic regime. Its impartiality has been questioned, as it receives funding from sources linked to the Saudi family, and it is openly oppositional to the Iranian regime. Nonetheless, it remains a vital source of uncensored information and occasionally provides key information from within Iran.

On a Society Increasingly Turning Fascistic: The Exploitation of the Pandemic by the Republic of Cyprus

This article was originally published in Greek on this blogspot, on the 21st of November, 2020. The original Greek version can be found here . An update to this article was also published on the 4th of February, 2021. It can be found here .   The article attempts to present a summary of the ways that the Republic of Cyprus has been politically exploiting the covid-19 pandemic since February of 2020. With the employed measures and the conditions of the pandemic continuously changing, in parallel with the general dominance of misinformation, the article is an attempt to paint a more general picture in relation to the authoritarian approach that has been taken by the Cypriot state since the beginning of the pandemic. Its main focus is the documentation of the authoritarian policies that the state has 'legitimized' on the pretext of protecting public health; and which appear to have reached the level of general normalization within broader society. The present text does not aim to...
